Three ways to shift how your team thinks about the future.

Each engagement starts with a conversation. I don’t deliver standard presentations – everything is shaped around your team, your sector and the specific moment you’re in. Available as keynote, full-day or half-day design lab, or virtual session. No prices on this page – available on request.

Time-travel for leaders

For leadership teams facing strategic uncertainty

How do you lead confidently when the future feels unstable? Most organisations try to predict what’s coming – and plan around that prediction. But the future doesn’t cooperate. This session gives leadership teams a practical way to make long-term strategic decisions from the future back: working backwards from possible futures to the actions that need to happen today.

The core method is speculative design and strategic foresight – two disciplines I’ve applied with boards and executive teams at some of the world’s most complex organisations. But in this session it becomes hands-on, human and genuinely energising. Not a lecture. A shared experience.

Best for

Executive offsites, annual strategy sessions, leadership programme kick-offs, C-suite alignment events.

Available formats

Keynote (60–90 min) Half day Full day Virtual
»Stefan has a rare quality: he makes the future feel like something you’ve already decided to build together. Our leadership team left the offsite with more alignment than we’d achieved in two years of strategy work.«

Chief People Officer · Global financial services

What participants leave with

  • A shared language for talking about the future – without the usual spin or corporate hedging
  • At least one concrete strategic provocation to take back to the organisation
  • The confidence to act on incomplete information
  • A team that’s more aligned than when they walked in

Facing uncertainty – the AI-native era

For leaders navigating AI transformation

AI is rewriting the rules of work faster than most organisations can process. The risk isn’t getting the technology wrong – it’s misreading what the technology means for the humans inside your organisation. This session shows how leaders can turn uncertainty into momentum: connecting service design, systems thinking and AI capability to move from reactive adaptation to proactive reinvention.

The session draws on real cases from organisations that are navigating this well and those that aren’t. It’s honest about the difficulty and clear about the opportunity. The frame throughout: being human is not in competition with AI – it’s your greatest competitive advantage in the AI-native era.

Best for

Technology and digital transformation events, HR and people leadership conferences, senior management offsites where AI is on the agenda.

Co-creation as strategy

For organisations building innovation from the inside

The organisations that shape the future are the ones that bring people into the thinking – not just the execution. Co-creation isn’t a workshop technique. It’s a conviction about where good ideas come from and how lasting change actually happens. This session makes that conviction practical.

Drawing on thirty years of building innovation capability inside large organisations – from embedding service design into Sweden’s county council system to leading McKinsey’s global design lab – this session gives leaders a way to unlock the creative capacity that already exists in their organisation.

Best for

Innovation leaders, HR and people leadership events, transformation programmes, culture change initiatives.

How it works

The briefing process – why it matters

01

Initial conversation

A 20–30 minute call to understand your team, context and the specific challenge you’re working through. This isn’t a sales call – it’s where the shaping begins.

02

Tailored brief

I send a short set of questions that go deeper into your sector, audience and what success looks like for the day. The answers shape everything that follows.

03

Content alignment

One round of review on the adapted material – so you can see how the session will run and we can make any final adjustments before the day.

04

Delivery + debrief

The session itself – and a short debrief afterwards to capture what landed, what sparked and how to keep the momentum going inside the organisation.

Based in Stockholm, working globally. I bring a Nordic perspective to leadership and work design – not as a style choice, but because it shapes how I think about human potential, collaboration and the relationship between wellbeing and performance.
